Club July - A bistro to eat, play and chill

Stir up your day at Club July, a bar, bistro and restaurant located at Stagmont, Toa Payoh and Bishan. This is a superb place to chill, play pool or board games and of course eat to your heart’s content. Because of the wide range of food choices, it is best to come in a big group to share a few bites of everything. Club July is sure to satisfy your cravings easily from Chinese, Western and even Thai dishes.

Signature Crispy Kangkong
Most of the fried kang kong I have tried wasn’t able to achieve that perfect texture of light crispiness on the outer layer which is not too oily. Club July managed to pull it off seamlessly with the right temperature control. The meat floss coating adds fragrance and a sweeter taste to the nearly tasteless vegetable. I like to take it as an appetiser while waiting for the main dishes to be served, it is ideal to go with beer.

Black Bean Seafood Hor Fun
This particular dish is one of my favourite classic Chinese food that I will never get tired of but I always have a high expectation of it. The Hor Fun here has passed my requirement with it’s intense “wok hei" fragrance that is strongly addictive, so much so that I can smell it even before eating. The flat noodles are evenly fried with black bean sauce which is the key to a sumptuous plate of delight.

Penang Char Kway Teow
I love Malaysian food especially fried kway teow. How can you resist the fragrance packed with "wok hei" and the springy kway teow that is fried together with a decent amount of Chinese sausage, bean sprouts and other various spices? Although it looks simple but it has more than just the appearance. The chef who whip up this dish has an exceptional culinary skill.

BBQ Chicken Pizza
Baked in-house till golden-brown, the delicious thin crust pizza is dressed with BBQ sauce topped with generous serving of cheese, chicken, mushroom and tomato. Each bite is so crispy that it is similar to the texture of a biscuit. I was impressed by how good it is, this pizza here deserves to be rated better than average.

Salt and Pepper Shrooms

  1. I love the space here. I attended amazing event at venues in NYC and I ate more than I should. I had bread pudding, apple crisp, waffles and strawberries and cream. The main floor is very large and good size without being overwhelming, also there's tons of bar space too to order drinks.
