Sothys Premium Salon Opening at Boat Quay

Sothys has recently launched it’s first premium salon conveniently located at Boat Quay, featuring an exquisite interior and posh layout. I have been invited to grace the event of opening and was arranged to experience the popular Hydra3ha Intensive Treatment on another day. 

It is a 3D innovation which uses triple Hyaluronic acid to restore, reactivate and regenerate the deeper layers of my skin. Sothys has constantly proved to be a sustainable skin care brand with it’s improved efficacy. The high-performance treatment instantly hydrates my skin which I think is suitable for me as I usually jog outdoors under the sun. Water is lost rapidly throughout the day which causes easy development of dry skin, fine lines and roughness leading to skin ageing. Therefore it is significant to stay hydrated at all times to look radiant with a healthy complexion.

Before the start of my face treatment, my legs were already pampered as I had a comfortable water foot massage.
There Hydra3HA IT was performed in total 6 phases, let me share with you what you will be expecting. 


Step 1: Exfoliation
Using the Enzyme Exfoliation Gel, it exfoliates and removes skin’s impurities. It also cleanses your skin thoroughly to allow better absorption the goodness of the products. 

Step 2: Restructure
The skin needs to be rehydrated after exfoliation, thus Reconstructing Serum is used to nourish the skin with ceramides omega. 


Step 3: Rehydrate, Intense Hydration Gel Mask
The hydration gel mask allows the skin to absorb the Hyaluronic Acid quickly to moisturise the skin. The skincare specialist gave me a soothing massage at the same time to rehydrate the skin. 


Step 4: Regenerate 
Modelling Mask soaked with plenty of Hyaluronic Acid goodness is applied on my skin to restore a strong skin barrier. The whole process was very relaxing as the skincare specialist continued her professional massage skills.

Step 5: Plump

To achieve supple and smooth skin, Peel-off Plumping Mask that is rich in Vitamin E is applied on my skin.


Step 6: Final Infusing
They gave me an injection-like Smoothing Serum and the Hydra3Ha Intensive Serum and Cream at the last step for a more radiant and rejuvenated skin glow.

The end-result was amazing! My skin felt instantly hydrated, it is also firmer and not as dull as before. I have been a long time supporter of Sothys not just because of it’s quality products but it’s excellent innovation and service.

Qi Lin Xuan Kitchen at Vision Exchange

Have you ever experienced prolonged cravings before? It's the lingering thought of the food you ate yesterday which you still crave for it the next day. This happened after eating at Qi Lin Xuan Kitchen during the food tasting, I was totally hooked to the dishes!


Before I elaborate on the food, just to share a brief introduction of this place. This brand has actually been around for more than 10 years and has 2 branches, the latest branch recently opened it's door at Vision Exchange, a commercial building which is near Jurong East. The air-conditioned restaurant offers incredibly delicious local items such as the Signature Asam Fish Head, White Bee Hoon with Clams, Salted Egg Crab, Deep Fried Pork with Garlic, Chinese Spinach with Mixed Eggs and many more. There are over 50 selections to choose from and these dishes are so addictive that I will still crave for it very quickly.


White Bee Hoon with Clams
The crucial part of this dish is the broth, the vermicelli has fully absorbed the natural-sweet broth added with a hint of pepper that makes it very appetising. Served with a generous amount of big and juicy clams, every bite is consistently tasty.

Salted Egg Crab
Salted egg dishes are commonly found everywhere but how good it is mainly depends on the use of salted egg. Over here, the yellow colored paste is thick, fragrant and tasted pleasantly smooth. Not overly salty that is to my liking.

Deep Fried Pork with Garlic
One of my favourite dishes out of the lot. Pork belly is deep-fried till crispy and tossed with garlic bringing out the fragrance. Sweet home-made sauce is then coated over the meat. This goes perfectly with a glass of cold beer.
